Okay, so I have a serious soft spot for Disney parks. I’m not sure if it’s the pastel shades, mass amounts of cute treats or hearing the theme songs to your favorite childhood movies on repeat, but it’s just an overwhelming feeling of happiness! Even the waiting areas before getting on a ride are beautifully well-kept, with every nook detailed to perfection. I was obviously very excited to be partnering with the Walt Disney World team to recreate these childhood memories in my (very) late twenties. And even more excited to have my partner-in-crime, Ami, with me by my side. Below are just some of the highlights from our trip!
Even though the weather was full-on thunderstorms pretty much the entire time, we still made a point to hit the parks. Nothing could stop us from going to Magic Kingdom! And oddly enough, I think the weather worked in our favor- While everyone hid from the rain, we were running through the park completely solo at times. And got the best shots right in front of Cinderella’s Castle #accomplished. Animal Kingdom was a better weather story, so we were able to walk around more leisurely! I honestly forgot that it’s such an amazing jungle. And since we were there at night, it made the coasters a little spookier. Our last ride was by far our favorite, Expedition Everest, where we were screaming & laughing the entire ride.
Biggest thank you to Walt Disney World for letting us relive some of our favorite childhood memories. Although this trip was a short one, I came out of it feeling incredibly inspired to travel & experience more outside of NYC. Excited to share what else we have in store, coming soon!
